It is a MicroTech International DPAP-SCSI-MAC. Box has a 1998 copyright on
it so it is a somewhat dated model. Used a "Dane-Elec" Type I PCMCIA to CF
adapter and a Lexar 16mb 8x CF card. Tested with a Rev C SCSI card in a Rom
03 GS. Just tested it in ProDOS 8 and that was ok too. Intend to test on
my RAMFast machine once I get around to it. Yes I would be curious to see
if something like a PCMCIA Type III Hard Drive (actual HDD not a solid state
memory card) would work in it. The drive can fit type I, II and III cards
anyway. The unit isn't much bigger than a Palm Pilot so it is nice and
compact-- in the quest for a low footprint GS this is certainly a nice
change to the big SCSI cases I have cluttering up my desk.
