Well the command line option your ar referring to is DOS for the Intel
style PCs. You need to find your system master disk and run the COPYA
program. Or if you have any other utility programs such as COpyII+ or
Locksmith, they too can do copies.
I believe you will need to format the floppy disk before you use COPYA
and to format a disk using DOS 3.3, remove the boot disk.
Place the blank disk in the drive and type INIT HELLO,Dx
Replace teh x with the drive number, 1 or 2 where you put the blank disk.
If you do nto have a System Master disk with the COPYA program or other
utility, drop another note here requesting private assistance and
someone will certainly mail you a disk copy program for cost.
Thankx,
Ed

I've had an apple//e for at least 20 years which I haven't used for at
least 15 years.
Now I've forgotten some of the commands and can't find the reference
manual. I put a disk in and it booted up the machine. Now I want to make
a copy of the disk but I forgot how. I remember something like "copy A
to B" ( I have 2 drives) but can't remember the punctuation. Is it COPY
A: B: ? or something else. The disk is not copy protected. Can I put in
any blank 5-1/4 inch disk in drive B or do I have to intialize it first?
Also how do I do that if needed? What comes to mind is INIT. Is that
correct? Any help on these questions will be appreciated.
