Ok, the main question was if i can use one of the keyboards that i
already have.
I have one Mac IIsi, but one full size and one mini keyboard, so i can
easily spare one for the IIgs.
And if the keyboard works, so, i assume, does the mouse, as it is
connected through the keyboard.

Well, i just hooked everything up together and all i get is a not very
loud "ping" noise, similar to the one that my IIsi makes. Could be
possible that the monitor didn't survive my last move, so i will try
it again with another monitor some other day...

thanks to all suggestions,
