I owned a Model 100. (and also a apple II+).

It is amazing how many journalists did use the model 100, even long after
they were retired. Many journalists still preferred that model 100 for years
after notebooks became available.

However, I think perhaps cnn meant the first portable Apple? After all, the
//c did not have its own screen?
