Aluminum foil is just fine, as long as the card doesn't have a battery.
When you remove a card from the foil, make sure no small bits of foil
remain attached to the card.
The grey antistatic bags contain a very thin foil layer. It's not
uncommon for component leads to pierce the bag, contacting the foil,
but it doesn't hurt anything (except batteries).
The pink antistatic bags do not contain foil.
