The //e and //c do use the same encoder but both post process the keycodes
with a ROM connected to the output of the encoder. Thus the layouts can be
completely different. As long as you have the shift/caps/apple keys individually
accessable and the main keys fit into an 8x10 (I think that is the matrix size)
array you can fix any key mapping anomalies by programming a 2716 EPROM.
