Re: Aux slots

The pinout for the //e auxillary slot is in the //e technical
reference manual, but I am a bit lazy to type them in right now.
maybe someone else has already and be willing to post it.
The 1st IIGS motherboard (the rom00 and rom01) had connectors for both
the IIGS type power supply (the 1 line type) and the //e type power
supply for the stealth IIGS upgrade option. supposedly you could buy
a kit that will replace the bottom metal pan and motherboard of your
//e with a IIGS allowing you to still use the same power supply and
keyboard. Apple must have overestimated the number of people who will
get this upgrade and there was an oversupply, they eventually reused
some of these boards on "real" IIGS's which is why you will find some
"real" IIGS's boards with both connectors intact.
