Look up the SimSystem IIe emulator. I can swear this is
a rip-off of the Laser ROM. SimSystem IIe claims to be
the only emulator with reversed engineered compatible
ROM. Maybe that's true but I suspect it is the Laser
ROM (which in fact was reversed engineered by Video
Technology).

The ROM for the 128 and 128EX should be almost the
same. The 128EX/2 is the one with a lot of extra stuff
because of the Universal Disk Controller built in. The
ROM has to be larger because it includes the ROM
code for the integrated peripherals such as the UDC
and the control panel.

If you can find an actual Laser 128, the ROM is in a
socket underneath the unit with a screwed on metal
door covering the chip. The chip is a standard
EPROM chip with the UV erase/program window
covered by tape.
