Maybe bypass this routine if it is found to be a IIc or IIc+ or IIgs and
just drop the slot in there. Of course if it is a IIgs, you may want to
make sure that slot4 is set to Mouse. Keep in mind, we don't actually
need the mouse, just the interrupt generator. Instead of reading the
mouse (or in addition to) it would incriment a counter.
