Right in GS/OS is a program called Apple Disk Utilities.
It already CAN partition Zip disks and initialize them.
I've done several of them, and one has 1 ProDOS
partition and the rest is HFS. Why try to revive the old
sick horse when you have a perfectly good young Philly
in the stable?
Apple Disk Utilities will not run on a IIe, that's why!
I sowwy, but no one said nuthin' 'bout a IIe.
Besides, IMHO, Apple IIe is basically a game
playing machine, at least it is in my house.
Careful, Bill--now you have something else to be "sowwy" for! ;-)
The //e is a great hardware and software development machine,
with fine tools and simple, GUI-free software. The //e is easily
expanded in every dimension, and, without a GUI, its applications
are lightweight and resource-thrifty.
