In the context of the thread, I was assuming that comment was "if
there's a 6502 in the IIe, are the II+ ROMs used?".

If that's the case, the answer would have to be no.  It would require
the IIe ROMs since there is code in there to handle the extended
memory, and any additional hardware that the IIe contains.

If the II or II+ ROMs were placed in a IIe, either the whole thing
would not work, or parts of it would not work.
