I certainly agree.

The obvious conclusion is that the machine is not as (minimally)
described.  It looks like a fairly typical repackaging of an Apple ][+.

I knew folks who worked at Apple, where Apple II main boards (in
need of rework or not) were quite plentiful and for the taking, who
built several Apple II's in wooden cases (or just on a wood base).

These "Apples on a stick" were quite common in Silicon Valley.
