I was looking for 2.1 since I own 2.1, but the media is damaged,
and I was looking to rewrite the media. As for wha I mean by
"from a DOS volume". I mean from a DOS 3.3 floppy that
handles 32 character filenames.

The reason I'm interested in DOS 3.3 capability is because I have
about 70+ double-sided floppies full of text-files (10-25 per side),
all using extended filenames. Each disk is formated without DOS
on it for max storage. I've tried using ADT, with the idea of using
a file extractor to pull out the files (file names intact), but Fishwings
refuses to load the disks since they don't have DOS on the first
three tracks, and all of the command line file extractors completely
mangle the text into uninteligable garbage... Also, a few of the
floppies report bad sectors under ADT, but the files are perfectly
readable on my Apple using a text viewer...

I could transfer them to ProDOS first, then to my PC, but that
means I have to lose the filenames in the process, or spend hours
renaming them all back once they're on the PC (we're talking
easily over 2500 files here).

If I could just simply Y-Modem Batch or Z-Modem the files
straight from a DOS volume to my PC, I could skip alot of work
and headache.

Ok?

Thanks for the reply though...
