If I understand correctly, the idea is to record a SAVE from one Apple II and
use the audio to LOAD on another... if so the audio format should be of little
consequence since there are many audio apps for both PC and Mac that can play
most common audio file formats. I think WAV would be the most universally
playable...
Probably the most economic way of storing the files would be as 'data' rather
than on an audio CD, since audio CD standard is 16-bit/44100 Hz stereo, which
is probably more hi-fi than necessary for this idea.
