I did the following, and it worked fine:

- downloaded the file on my PC with IE6
- copied it to a floppy I'd just formatted (I didn't try opening it in
WinZip first)
- put the floppy in my Mac, and copied the file to a partition on a scratch
hard disk
- ran the copied file through StuffIt Expander (version 6.5.1)
