Thanks for the help.

I tried it, and the dialog box in text mode asking for username is gone.
However, when I tried to select a printer from the control panel, I get an
error message:

"Having trouble accessing printer data files from your startup disk. Please
re-install the printer software on your startup disk."

Any ideas? Thanks.
