I see that as an advantage, you do learn some basic (no pun intended)
English words while programming. Of course, starting of with BASIC made
me think that "PRINT" meant "to write", but I fixed that bug later on
:)

Another advantage is that all the nice words are free to use as
variable names. In English, you cant use "PRINT" as a variable name
since it is a keyword, but I could use Swedish "SKRIV" as a variable if
I wanted to, or German "SCHREIBEN". Of course, software with variable
names and comments in a non-English language is seldom very easily
understood by those speaking another language...
