I had a couple of those (the 150-in-1 and 200-in-1 models) back in the 80s. 
I'm not sure if Radio Shack still carries them, though...hmm...looks like

It's anyone's guess as to whether a local store would carry the kits or if
they'd stock up on overpriced computers instead.

Fry's has a better selection of this type of item (some of the wire-and-
spring-terminal variety and some of the parts-and-PCB-to-solder variety),
but with fewer than two dozen stores, they're not exactly on every corner.
