Re: wireless //e mouse?
Sounds as though the easy way to do this on a //e would be to use a BitMouse
card, which allows IBM mice to be used on ][s, and a wireless IBM mouse.
Were any such mice made for the IBM mice (earlier than ps2, I think)?

<< well, the IIGS used ADB mice so any older, non-USB mac mice would have
worked. The //e and //c used mac-plus type mice. I think it would be
possible to convert a normal PC mouse to work with //e and //c from
the diagrams in the //c technical reference manual, but you will be
going around all the ps2 or serial circuitry and interfacing it
directly to the buttons and the optical detectors. If there were a
way to demultiplex this info from modern day wireless mice then it
should be possible to do that. I'm going to try converting one of my
ps2 mice (i have a big pile of it) to work with my //c. will post
results later >>
