ground should be accessible from that ftp address. If not, try a full
pathname like:
<ftp://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu/2/apple2> or
<http://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu/2/apple2>
ground is also accessible using 'icaen' in place of 'ecn'.
Ground was originally 'grind.icaen.uiowa.edu', then became
ground.icaen.uiowa.edu. icaen was superceded by ecn, but both work as
domain names.
How many domain name changes constitute 'AGAIN' I do not know, but ground
hasn't changed domains in a few years now. ground does seem to 'crash'
often, but actually it is only the IP deamon or whatever that requires a
restart. We haven't had a true crash of the processor or hard-drive fro a
couple years. Occassionally, the scsi controller would lock up, but that
hasn't happened since we replaced the original harddrive.
When ground locks up, hopefully it will available in the next day or two.
Try again and keep trying.
The FAQ should be in the 2/apple2/FAQs folder.
