Hi,

The IDE controller I am making available to the US is
assumed to run up to 2 gb drives either laptop or external.
It is also ready to rock and roll with all software and
firmware provided. They come with either a combo
firmware for //e enhanced or ][gs and also can have a ][gs
specific firmware prom. If you are an avid Apple II power
user, this is the device for you. It also replaces your
Vulcan adapter completely and will control it much better.
Check it out at the site below. There are pics with drive
attached.

Well, if the Vulcan was the hard drive on my main IIe or
main IIgs I'd be considering that. Generally, I prefer
Ramfast SCSI cards because I've yet to try anything faster
and because I can use a larger number of periferals. Right
now on my IIgs I have a hard drive, magneto-optical drive,
a 200mb Syquest and a 40x CD-ROM. Well, the Syquest isn't
too fast but I've never had a Syquest disk fail on me, also
handy for moving files as my Mac G4 has one too.
