The term Marketing in my context means simply market. Whether with fair
marketing methods or unfair methods.
Marketing is marketing. The difference is whether it is in fair methods or
not. There only positive part is marketing. You can't make Millions or
Billions without marketing. There was alot of screwing people over but
marketing was one thing they did successful. Marketing is "advertising".
They advertised alot. Behind the marketing they did alot of negatives. The
marketing did make GUI popular. The unfair business practices where the
parts that had little or no effect on the marketing because much of the news
of unfair business practices where well after and kept quiet until after the
fact that the marketing campaign raised Billions to M$. The screwing people
over helped them by keeping the opposition so freakin' much out of money
that they can't advertise. If you are the only one known, then people have
no choice. Great part to boost on there money roll ins. Very unethical.
Marketing help make GUI popular. Though the sad thing is that M$ behind
doors screwed alot over.
