Steve Jobs did not go to Xerox PARC as the conquering hero.  He had to 
be dragged over there.  And Apple did pay Xerox $1 million in Apple 
stock for the privilege of going there to get ideas.  Xerox later sold 
the stock for $7 million if I remember correctly.
