The "inspiration" was apparently pretty intimate, since Gary
Kildall, the inventor of CP/M said that he recognized certain
code sequences and data layouts in QDOS/MSDOS as
logically identical to their equivalents in CP/M.

Since Gary was not one to point out "trivial" similarities,
I presume he saw this as evidence that the QDOS writer
had a CP/M disassembly at hand--only to resolve corner-
case ambiguities, of course.  ;-)
