I just verified that Mac OS 7.1 and probably 7.0 can't natively access
ProDos disks. However, there is an extension that allows you to this. It's
part of the IIe Card software package (free download from Apple). That comes
as a disk image. Extract it with Stuffit, then mount the image with
DiskCopy. Open the System folder on the disk, and drag and drop the ProDos
extension onto your Mac's System Folder. Reboot, and you'll be able to
read, write, and format 3.5" ProDos disks, and also make floppies from
images and make images from ProDos floppies using DiskCopy.
