AppleWin is designed to run Microsoft Windows95 or later (possibly, not XP).
Once, you've activated the program. Upon the first loadup, a message/picture
ought to appear on the left (in larger window), announcing: "Apple //e Emulator
for Windows Copyright © 1994, Michael O'Brien".
All your menu options shown as clickable buttons including those for inserting
disk images are located on the right handside. The button that looks like a
disk drive and has matching number 1 or 2 are the emulated disk drives with 1
being the startup drive. Click the button 1 and select your chosen diskette,
must have the file extension ".DSK" and be in that file format.
Afterwards, select the "Apple" button to begin your emulation sesssion.
Anytime during emulation disks can be swapped and either can be reset to boot
the new diskette by pushing the "Apple" button or using
<CRTL>-<ALT><PAUSE/BREAK> keys at the same time which acts like
<Open-Apple><Crtl> <Reset> keys on genuine Apple //e.
If in doubt, click the button that looks like a book with huge question mark.
This will activate the comprehensive help.
I hope that helps,
Happy emulating...
