RAM-GS DOA?

I have been lurking awhile as I build up my new(old) GS system and
this forum has been very helpful. Thanks.
Now for my problem, I bought a 4Mb RAM-GS on ebay just recently. I
removed my Apple1Mb card, installed the RAM-GS, and upon power up got
a Fatal Error message after GSOS 6.01 finished loading. I should
mention My system includes Rom3, Vulcan S7, 2-1.4 3.5drives S5, 5.25
S6, and a VOC in S2.
Is there an install disk or driver needed for the RAM-GS to work
properly, or is it DOA? Any info would be cheerfully accepted:)
