Well, I couldn't get Bernie 2.6 running under Mac OS Classic in OS X to 
apparently work right.  It would only mount disks in the slot 5 drives 
or something like that and wouldn't pick up the test image I made for 
doing a quick install.

However, Bernie 3 Preview worked just fine with the same preferences and 
disk images.

So I don't know why it's complicated.  Maybe it's just not working right 
on your system...just like it didn't work on mine with Bernie 2.6.
