You'll need to get the particular set of ROM files that MESS expects. For
emulating an enhanced //e, the files are ...

filename size
-----------------
a2ee.vid 4096
a2ee.ef 8192
a2ee.cd 8192
disk2_33.rom 256

You can get them in a .zip file (apple2ee.zip) from ...
http://pkg.lugbs.linux.it/PACCHETTI/Mess-roms/CONTENTS/www.messroms.de/old/apple2ee/ .

I tried out the PC Windows version of MESS (v0.62) from the M.E.S.S. home site at
http://www.mess.org/ . You just put the ROMs .zip file in the Bios folder. Then, you
start up messgui.exe, select Apple //e (enhanced) in the All Systems folder, and select
"Play Apple //e (enhanced)" in the Files menu. Looks like a pretty nice emu!
