I think I must have the most kludgey TV setup ever. I have a VHS with
audio and video out going to the TV tuner/video capture card in my
Win-98 box, and RF out going to RF in on the old Beta. Then the Beta
is set up with a coax going from its RF out to the RF in connector on
the TV tuner, composite out going to an Apple Monitor IIe, and audio
out going to the stereo.
With this weird setup, I can watch videos on the Apple monitor, as
well as be able to do screen captures from either VCR. Additionally,
if I want to do screen captures from an Apple II or other classic
system, I can run a cable from the system's composite out to the video
in on the VHS, or connect an RF switch to the RF in on the VHS for
systems that don't do composite (such as the Atari 2600 for example).
Only thing else I need to make this a complete setup is a video card
that can do composite out.
