I have one myself...got a kit from Shreve Systems about 10 years ago to do
the conversion.  Back when the IIGS was introduced, you could take your IIe
to an Apple dealer and have it upgraded.  (The kit I bought was about $250
IIRC; the dealer conversion was about $500.)
