The HPUX versions of KEGS support this (at least up to version 0.60,
starting with version 0.36 or so). At least, I connect via telnet from
ProTermMac on Mac 8550 to Spectrum v2.3 under KEGS 0.60, port 6502. I
haven't tried PTMac to PTA2, but I suspect it will work too. How this
helps setting up a BBS I do not know, but theoretically it should work.
Kegs setups port 6501 and 6502 as a SSC serial port. I don't know if KEGS
under Linux, Windows, etc. support this 6501 & 6502 port-serial port
emulation.
