Re: AppleWorks help?
>It'd be nice if AppleWorks were freeware
This is a real unfortunate situation for everyone. Apple Computer has put us in
a difficult situation by ignoring our (many) requests for release of the Apple
II versions of AppleWorks. We don't want to "pirate" copies, but legal ones,
especially of the higher versions 4.3 and 5.1, are scarce. It would be a
different Apple II community if this program could be freely shared, and
therefore used and discussed. AppleWorks afficionados are among the most
creative and zealous of all Apple II users - especially when UltraMacros is
involved.
