On the LC you ned to enable Appletalk and enable file sharing.  On the
IIgs (assuming GS/OS 6.0.1) you need to install AppleShare and AppleTalk
support.  On the Mac you have to share at least one folder.

On the GS, you open the AppleShare control panel and log into the Mac (use
the "Users and Groups" control panel on the Mac to establish a user
account for the GS) and once you're logged in it will ask you what drives
you want to mount.  These will show up on the GS desktop.

It's pretty painless actually.  Now if you want to also get that LC to
talk to a G4 on an Ethernet network...well, that's the problem I'm working
with right now...
