Re: Zip drive and CMS SCSI

Yes I have tried, no it does not work. Tried CD drives, Zip, Syquest 44 and
80 meg drives, Iomega 90 meg Bernoulli...NONE worked but all are recognized as
being devices on the SCSI chain. Strange, I have a Syquest in a CMS case, but
even IT didn't work! I have sounds on and when you put a CD in or mount a
zip or mount a Bernoulli, you get the mount sound, as if you had stuffed a CD
in the drive on the Apple High Speed SCSI next to the CMS (CMS in 7, AHS in 4;
on a ROM 3) alas, nothing shows on the desktop. Tried a IN#7 with a pre
formated ProDOS drive in a mountable already spun up to boot to Prodos, tried
a CAT on the drive, tried coffers of fruit to the gods of
Cupertino...nothing. ah well, CMS works great on a Hard ddrive....and only a
hard drive. Oh, and yes, this is a 1990 ROM, I have examples of all, but I
cloned the 1990 to all my cards becasue the earlier ROM(s) is unusable,
basically.
