I've been using a 4X NEC CD player on my IIe equipped with a Rev D
ramfast. I use this model because the manual controls could be used to
play music CDs. Last weekend I picked up the 6X version. It works fine
except the front controls will not work when attached to a ramfast. Same
problem with another computer with a ramfast. The controls work when
hooked up to any other SCSI card or a Mac. Maybe it's a sign that my Int
basic Apple II needs a CD drive?
