Speaking of the Gameboy, it's interested to note that Mike Searl wrote a
classic Gameboy emulator for the IIgs. I don't believe he ever got around to
completing it (though it did work!) or unfortunately, releasing it.
Also on the same topic, Lucas Scharenbroich was working on a project
to port 8-bit Nintendo games over to the IIgs. He released a playable demo
of Super Mario Bros which is pretty remarkable, even on a stock 2.6 MHz
machine. Along with Out of This World and Wolfenstein 3D it just seems
unreal to see it playing on a IIgs!
