Bernie can not use DOS 3.3 images?

I made an image using Asimov of a DOS 3.3 5.25" disk. I choose DOS 3.3
order, for universal disk image (*.2mg). I put it on my mac and run
bernie and bernie tells me it can not mount DOS 3.3 disk images. Is
this really true or did I just do something wrong when I made the
image? What other ways or programs can I use to turn a DOS 3.3 disk
image into a file that can be used by an emulator? Thanks!
