Whilst there may be some folks here who use Macs occasionally, ye may
have better luck posting your question in a Macintosh newsgroup.
comp.sys.apple2 is for discussion of the Apple II series (and their
various clones); the computer that by and large started the home
computer industry; and without which, there probably would not have
been a Mac.  :p

And that question might best be posted in a Commodore newsgroup.
Essentially, if your 128 thinks it's a 64, then you probably have a
cartridge in the cartridge slot that causes the Commodore 128 to boot
into Commodore 64 mode.  O:)
