Of course Spectrum "handles it very well." 

After all, it's the only IIGS telecomm program that's been updated in
recent years. And, it's still available for sale! And, my word, there's
even a Spectrum-based web browser available. And, my gosh, there was even
a Spectrum related update released in the last 1-2 weeks (for the SOAR
off-line reader).
