Attention: Sysop's!!

I have been unable to find a world-wide directory of Apple II BBS's.
I'll like to start putting one together with the intention of posting it
within this newsgroup, once, all the information has been gathered and
only if I get enough replies.

No porn sites and nothing to do with Mac(intoshes).

I am unable to try them all out, please ensure that the BBS is still
operating and details are correct.

If you wish to be included on the list, I require the following
information: name of BBS, names and contact details of Sysop(s), BBS
Software used (including version numbers, if possible), special software
supported and required (e.g.. for retrieving messages, etc.), type of
BBS (direct connect being not over the internet, telenet, web or
java-based), BBS contact addresses (phone number for those not on the
internet, including regional and country STD codes, web-site address or
telenet), connection speeds (modem speeds, etc), country of origin and
region (can foreigns and/or those outside the region join?), for which
language (English only, or Chinese and Japanese, etc.), character sets
supported and/or required (ANSI or ASCII), private or public BBS, date
when the BBS began and number of years in operation, any sponsorship,
brief description that best describes the BBS, number of connections at
one time (single or multiple, how many people can be online at the same
time), message
groups, categories for downloadable files and their general file formats
(.shk, .gif, .dsk, .mod, etc.), estimate of amount of files for each
category, type of files (freeware, public domain or shareware, Dos 3.3
or ProDOS, AppleWorks, etc), levels of access and what is accessible
(eg. beginners can only read/post messages, not download files) and
their related costs with correct currency and options for payment
(cheque, cash-only, etc.), any additional services and their charges
(like Fidonet, online games,
chat facilities and for how many people? or e-mail accounts, etc.) and,
is it accessible on Apple II?

Feel free to add anything else to the list mentioned above.
Please e-mail me, at: greymouse2k@yahoo.com

Thanks,
Jeff.
