I've just about finished re-writing my web page so that it will run on Linux
(PHP/MySQL/Apache,) and I'll soon be moving it to a faster CoLo host. It'll
finally have a real domain name too. Whoohoo!
There are several things that I'll be adding to it, like what the weather is
like at my place here in Seattle (Heathkit 5001,) a clone specific forum, and
various "how-to's" for specific clones that I have, etc. One other thing that
I was considering was running a BBS on my Basis 108, using either a Corvus or
Sider HD, and having a link on my website. This would mostly just be for me
to learn how to do it, since I've never setup or maintained a BBS before, so
it wouldn't be anything real fancy. Maybe I could run the forum on that,
even.
The other thing that I was considering (instead of the BBS) is to simply
allow telnet access directly to various clones, via the internet. This would
really just be for letting you curious, technical types poke around on some
different clone hardware. My question is what would most of you find more
interesting?
I could do both but I don't want to right now.
Thanks,
Ernest
