Turns out that Asimov has more Carmen stuff than I thought. Go to
ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/unsorted/ . You can find a couple
versions of Where in Europe is Carmen Sandiego there plus Where in Time'.
The Carmen Europe and Time files are ...
Carmen.Europe.SHK- File archive intended for unshrinking to a ProDOS
initialized/formatted diskette or RAM Disk. Requires at least 250k; so, an 800k
diskette is fine as the target. The disk must be named "CARMEN.EUROPE". (Disk
is not bootable. To be bootable, the target disk must be initialized for ProDOS
and include PRODOS v1.4 or higher.) In a test on a IIgs, the game seems to run
fine when launched under System 6.0.1 from /RAM5 RAM disk.
WHERE.EUROPE.S1.SDK and WHERE.EUROPE.S2.SDK- Seem to be separate whole-disk
archives intended for unshrinking to 5.25" diskettes. Did not check these.
CARMENTIME.SDK- Whole-disk archive intended for unshrinking to an 800k diskette
or 800k RAM Disk. After unshrinking, the disk will be named "C4". (Disk
includes PRODOS and may be bootable-- didn't try booting it.) In a test on a
IIgs, the game seems to run fine when launched under System 6.0.1 from an 800k
/RAM5 RAM disk.
