Most of them would be identical.

Several that come to mind which were different are:

Laser3000. Had 24k rom. Second 12k was switched in
and out of the $8000-$BFFF memory space.

I have seen at least 1 A2e clone which used a 24k ROM,
and jumped between both banks the same way that an
Apple2C (with 32kROM) does.
