Did you actually read Wayne's post, or are you simply assuming that
because the first paragraph mentions a G4 that he posted it to the wrong
group? It is perfectly on topic for csa2, because it is dealing with
issues exchanging files with an Apple II.

(Shudder.) That's a pretty nasty side effect.
I can't remember when I last wrote to a ProDOS floppy disk on a Mac (I'd
be more inclined to write to an HFS floppy and read that on the IIgs,
and I've hardly used a floppy disk for about four years). I do have two
Macs with floppy drives (7600 and 8600 - both are the standard Apple
post-SuperDrive floppy with manual "injection") that are running Mac OS
8.6 and 9.1 respectively, so I could try them.
I don't have any USB floppy drives (or a SuperDisk) so I can't easily
try 9.2.x. I think at least one friend of mine has a USB floppy which I
could try. I'll give it a go sometime, but don't expect a quick answer.
