I recently picked up a disfunctional Franklin Ace 1000 and would like to
get it working.
The machine appears to be a clone of the Apple II+ (only it has a nicer
keyboard and the reset button is in a reasonable place). When it is
turned on the screen is filled with the "delete" character (ie. the one
used in AppleSoft BASIC). The video signal is strong. The same thing
happens when all of the peripheral cards are removed.
Does anybody have any troubleshooting suggestions?
