Keep in mind that ebay has a lot of people selling these systems still
-- why not offer it for free to anyone that will pay for shipping?
That way, you know the person is serious about wanting it -- and that
it will probably get a good home. Also, you really don't want people
you don't know well coming to your house -- they could easily be
casing you for a robbery -- it has happened to many people before.
To the person wanting RAM for the IIE, I just bought a ram expansion
card on ebay for my Apple IIGS that I also recently bought, and I paid
$3.99 for the ram expansion card, plus $5 for shipping and handling.
If you keep your wits about you, and only bid what an item is worth to
you (plus if you only purchase from people who have good feedback with
ebay, which you can find out by clicking on a link on each item's
page) -- you can get some good stuff.
