Not without some workarounds.  BASIC.SYSTEM sees LOAD or SAVE without a
filename and returns SYNTAX ERROR, while DOS 3.3's command interpreter
passed them on to Applesoft's LOAD/SAVE commands.  If you could temporarily
"disconnect" BASIC.SYSTEM (don't recall how offhand), you could use LOAD and
SAVE to work with tapes.  CALL 976 (or 3D0G in the Monitor) should reconnect
BASIC.SYSTEM when you're done.
