Yes, there is: Don't bother trying.

Correct. The Mac cannot display at NTSC scan frequencies, which the IIgs
monitor runs at. Some OLD NuBus cards could do it, but they are long gone.
The reverse (IIgs to Mac monitor) is possible with a scan doubler.
