As others have pointed out, Apple never made a product called OS9. However they did make an operating system for the Macintosh called "System 9". In any event, this group is for the Apple// machine (predates the Macintosh). Apple// machines can not run either without a co-processor (as was pointed out in another message). Unless you are asking about a co-processor to the Apple// machine the message is off topic. You'd be better off asking your question in a Macintosh group. Simply follow the same steps you used to get here and look for "mac" instead of "apple".
